a definition of happiness

null#nowlistening If I Wanted To Call You – Hans Zimmer (OST The Holiday)

Everything has a negative side, even a slightly happiness.

First case.

You want him to be happy. You want to be the reason for him to be happy. You’ll do everything to make him happy. But he choose someone else to make him happy and that’s enough. He doesn’t need you.

Second case

You want him to be happy. You’re happy if he’s happy. You think that he’s not happy with her. You give your best effort to make him realize that he has to be with you to be happy. He comes to you. What about her?

To be happy is to make someone else unhappy. Is that a true happiness?
